Hand

The hand is comprised of a variety of bones, muscles and ligaments that allow a large amount of movement and dexterity. The hand is comprised of three major types of bone: the phalanges or finger bones, the metacarpal bones, which compose the middle part of the hand and the carpal bones, which make up the wrist.
