Dr. Kendall, a Washington, Indiana native, graduated summa cum laude from the University of Southern Indiana (USI) in Evansville, Indiana in 1997. At USI, he was awarded a presidential scholarship and the Trustee’s Distinguished Merit award. He earned his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine in 2001. Upon graduation, he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society.
Dr. Kendall completed his internship in 2002 and orthopedic surgery residency in 2006 at the Greenville Hospital System University Medical Center and the Shriner’s Hospital for Children in Greenville, SC. Following residency, he completed a fellowship in sports medicine and cartilage reconstruction at the internationally recognized Atlanta Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center in Atlanta, Georgia in 2007.
He was also an associate team physician for the Atlanta Falcons and the Atlanta Thrashers in 2006-2007. Dr. Kendall has given several presentations at both state and national meetings. He has also published research articles in both the United States and Italy. He is a fellow member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
