Kyler Benbow, PA-C
Kyler Benbow, PA-C graduated from Butler University in 2012 with a bachelor’s in health sciences. She then received her master of physician assistant studies in 2013. Shortly after graduation, she completed her board certification through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants in June 2013. While at Butler University, she was inducted into the Mortar Board National Honor Society and selected as a Butler University Top 100 Student. Shortly following graduation, she worked in the Community North and East Emergency departments. She joined OrthoIndy as Dr. Jonathan Shook’s PA in 2015. They work closely together to provide comprehensive orthopedic care for common sports injuries. She is passionate about patient education and communication to help relieve patient’s pain and cope with their sports injuries.
Kyler also served as an Officer in the Indiana Air National Guard. She was commissioned in April 2015 and then graduated with honors from Officers Training School in Montgomery in March 2016. She served as a physician assistant in the Indiana 19th CERFP in preparation for domestic terrorism and natural disasters. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and Indiana Orthopaedic Society. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, kids, friends, and family.

Brendan Sweeney, MMS, PA-C
Brendan works with both Dr. Troy Roberson and Dr. Jonathan Shook at OrthoIndy. He has extensive experience and knowledge in cartilage restoration and complex knee, shoulder, and hip pathology. He has more than 10 years of experience in the field of Sports Medicine and Orthopedic Surgery. He previously worked at Midwest Orthopedics at Rush in Chicago. He has had the privilege of working on medical staff for both the Chicago White Sox and Indiana Pacers. Brendan received his undergraduate degree from Indiana University (Go Hoosiers!) and his Masters in Physician Assistant Studies from Midwestern University. Brendan enjoys his free time with his wife and trying to keep up with their young son.
