Born and raised in Indiana, Dr. Gabriel Jackson is a graduate of Ben Davis High School and received his undergraduate degree from Indiana University in 1996. After receiving his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine in 2001, he completed a residency in orthopedic surgery at Howard University Hospital in 2006, earning the Howard University Hospital Department of Orthopaedics “Patient Care Award” in 2005.
Dr. Jackson served as chief resident of orthopedic surgery at Howard University Hospital, Providence Hospital, and the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Washington, D.C., as well as Sinai Hospital of Baltimore in 2000-2001.
Following his residency, Dr. Jackson completed a fellowship in spinal surgery at OrthoIndy in 2007. Dr. Jackson is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
