Dr. Sigua graduated from the University of California, San Diego with a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry and cellular biology. He attended medical school at Ross University’s School of Medicine in 2000 and completed a residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. While at Rush University, Dr. Sigua was appointed chief resident from 2003 to 2004. Following his residency, Dr. Sigua continued his fellowship training in sports medicine, electrodiagnostic medicine and interventional spine at Michigan State University.
Dr. Sigua has served as both a researcher and teacher in areas of physical medicine, rehabilitation and pain management. Dr. Sigua is an active member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the Association of Academic Physiatrists.
